Making Connections Happen.
The British Columbia Council for International Cooperation (BCCIC)
and Engineers Without Borders (EWB) would like to invite you to
International Development Drinks on January 27th 2011 at the Blarneystone Pub in the heart of Gastown.
This evening will provide
an opportunity to connect with all major NGOs that are operating in
Vancouver. Additionally, we will be hosting returned overseas
volunteers, graduate students, professors, members of CIDA, and young
social entrepreneurs. Please join us for a night of networking, socializing and discussion.
Keynote Presenter: Jeff Gibbs, Global Activators
Jeff Gibbs is a Canadian social entrepreneur, photographer and motivational speaker. A recipient of the United Nations Global 500 Award for Environmental Achievement, Jeff is launching Global Activators, a NGO whose mission is to raise awareness and funds for environmental causes around the world through a public engagement model.
